Cheque frauds Woman in court
Cheque fraudster Miranda O'Loughlin has been granted bail to return to court next Thursday charged with breaching the terms of her suspended sentence.
24in. t5 tube light ledO'Loughlin, 32, Upper Park Street, Cheltenham was appearing at Gloucester Crown Court accused of failing to perform 100 Chanel Charm Necklace hours of unpaid work for the community, a key requirement of her release.
She had been sentenced to eight months imprisonment suspended for 12 months earlier this year for being part of a 10-strong gang who took women's handbags from cars and
embroidered patches then used their cheques in stores including Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose, and Focus DIY.
Eight of the ten, all from Cheltenham, admitted the charge - conspiracy to defraud and six were given suspended sentences.
O'Loughlin was granted bail.
